Ryan Christiansen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. He and his wife Jamie Christiansen have 6 children and reside in St. George, Utah. Ryan has worked in various outpatient and residential settings, treating both Adolescents and Adults for various forms of addiction and trauma including domestic violence, substance abuse, pornography and sex addiction, Mood Disorders, Childhood abuse of all forms, Ritual abuse, etc. He is the owner and Clinical Director of ABC Counseling Services in St. George, Utah with two branches called Grounded Within and Academic and Behavioral Counseling Services where his wife provides treatment services to children, youth and their families.
He currently works with adolescents, adults and couples for their addiction and trauma challenges. He is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), and a Certified EMDR Treatment Therapist
through the International EMDR Association. He has received extensive training through the Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute in Massachusetts. When Ryan is not working, he is raising his children, taking care of projects around the house and yard, camping, playing the piano or otherwise practicing the very self-care and grounding techniques he trains his clients to use.
