Affair recovery is possible for those struggling in Kennewick. The discovery of betrayal by a trusted partner can be extremely devastating, but specialized therapy can help you come back stronger and happier than ever. You may feel overwhelmed by your emotions after the discovery of betrayal, but this is completely normal. The term for these side effects is “betrayal trauma,” which has side effects that are often compared to PTSD. Feelings of depression, anxiety, hopelessness, grief, and loneliness are all common, as well as frequent flashbacks and nightmares.Post-Infidelity Stress Disorder can make it extremely difficult to get back to daily life. All the places, people, and activities you once loved are now constant reminders of the betrayal, making it a challenge to get back on track. Before long, you may feel like your entire life is run by betrayal trauma, and “normal” feels like forever ago.
