Sex Addiction, Betrayal Trauma & Affair Recovery in Georgia:John BellIntern
Our Tucker team has many affair recovery specialists who are available to help both individuals and couples work through betrayal trauma. One of these trained professionals is John Bell.
John deeply enjoys exploring people’s stories and believes in the resiliency and potential that each person possesses no matter what they have been through. He loves when Brené Brown writes, “When we have the courage to walk into our story and own it, we get to write the ending.” He counts it a privilege to accompany clients through the therapeutic process of healing the past, overcoming where they are stuck in the present, and writing beautiful new chapters in their stories.
John worked as an entrepreneur in the business sector before leaving to serve in nonprofit leadership. He also spent more than a decade living in Central America working with an organization that serves street kids. As a result of his time in Central America, John speaks Spanish fluently. He holds a BA in Psychology, a MA in Theology, is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate (CSAT-C), and will graduate in May 2021 with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is currently a student intern and works with a broad range of issues. He specializes in men's issues, sexual addictions, life transitions, and adolescents dealing with anxiety.
In his free time, John loves running, playing golf, traveling, and watching all sports. He also often finds himself dreaming of a day away trout fishing with his wife in a mountain stream far from the daily shenanigans of their two young children.
