She has found it rewarding to facilitate individual change and work with the family system to ensure long-term growth and change. 

In addition to working with adolescents and their families, she also enjoys working with couples who were premarital, marital, or blending families. Amy's greatest defining experience of her life is motherhood. She has six of the most amazing children ever born. Her youngest daughter has Down Syndrome, and raising her has taught her countless life lessons.
