If you are visiting for the first time, welcome. Truly, I welcome working with people from all walks of life and from all kinds of backgrounds. I specialize in Substance Use Disorders, Sexual Addictions and trauma-based EMDR Therapy. While completing an Internship at Coast Guard Headquarters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I experienced the whole person treatment model collaborating with Medical, Work-Life and the Chaplains. 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist trained through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. I am a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and National Certified Counselor. My educational background includes a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Bachelor of Art’s degree in Sociology and an Associate degree in Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment. 

I began my path in this profession after hitting bottom 18 years ago. Coming to terms with a substance use disorder, sex addiction and a past littered with trauma wasn't easy, but throughout my journey of healing, God opened doors I never thought possible. Most people can envision the person they would like to become, yet fear prevents many from taking steps towards change...towards healing. I know, I've been there. Fear knocks on the door, faith answers, and freedom is there. It takes courage to open...but its there.
