MaryAnn Michaelis

LSWAIC | LCSW

Hi, I'm MaryAnn. I began working with women experiencing betrayal trauma in 2015. Through listening to hundreds of stories of betrayal trauma and through personal experience, I have learned the importance of empathetic listening and the power of safe spaces. I am passionate about helping individuals find healing as they discover personal strength and empowerment through connection, self-care, resources, and tools.

I am a member of The Safeguard Alliance-a preventative task force for The National Center on Sexal Exploitation (NCOSE), the founder of StepUp Washington, a Washington based anti-pornography coalition, and a member of the Tri-Cities Coalition Against Trafficking (TC-CAT).

I play the cello and love music, traveling and exploring with my husband and two daughters, watching Colorado Rockies baseball, eating foods we grow, and watching our honey bees.
