Angel Adams
AMFT
Angel Adams, is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who believes healing grows through connection, curiosity, and hope. She brings warmth, authenticity, and a steady presence to the therapy space, helping clients feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength.
Angel works with individuals, couples, and families facing many of life’s challenges, with additional training in grief, betrayal trauma, relationship concerns, sexually compulsive behaviors, ADHD, addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety, crisis intervention related to suicidal ideation and self-injurious behaviors, and parent–teen relationships. She works with clients ages 8 and up, offering a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where individuals and families can explore their experiences, strengthen communication, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Angel is committed to providing affirming care to individuals and families from all walks of life.
Her approach is trauma-informed, relational, and practical. Angel integrates traditional therapy modalities with trauma-informed approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), somatic practices, and mindfulness to support healing in both the mind and body. She believes therapy works best when awareness is paired with tools that empower clients in their everyday lives.
Angel places a strong value on human relationships and has spent much of her career teaching and facilitating community classes for couples and families. She is certified in multiple evidence-based curriculums, and this experience shapes her collaborative, connection-focused approach. She believes healing is often strengthened through shared learning, meaningful relationships, and finding greater alignment within oneself and with others.
With both professional training and lived experience, Angel walks alongside clients with compassion, helping them rebuild self-trust and strengthen relationships as they cultivate resilience and move toward lives that feel more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.
Outside of her work, Angel is a wife and mother who treasures her family and friends, meaningful connections, and a life well-lived, finding renewal in books, music, movement, travel, and time spent outdoors, especially near the ocean. She believes joy, connection, and curiosity are essential threads in a balanced, meaningful life. A proud alum of Utah Valley University and Capella University, and a long-time Utah County resident who is deeply committed to serving her community.
